You can choose whether each player's turn is 15 or 20 seconds long
When you win a match, you receive a rating based on the difference between your own and your opponents' ratings. If you defeat an opponent with a high rating, you earn more than if you defeat an opponent with a low rating. Your opponents lose the corresponding rating, and vice versa if you lose. The game will try as much as possible to match you with opponents of similar ratings.
You cannot hold a high rating for long. If you do not play for a few days, your rating will automatically start to decline.
You earn points and XP for playing, especially for winning matches. The number of points you earn varies from regular matches to friendly matches. You will always earn points regardless of the outcome of the game.
You can see more specifically what you earn in XP by clicking on Rank at the top.
The original UNO card game was invented in 1971 by Merle Robbins in Ohio, USA, as a variant of the card game Crazy Eights. Robbins sold the first card games from his barbershop, and the game quickly became a success in the community. Later, it was sold to a larger game company, which made UNO a worldwide classic.
UNO is now played both as a family game and as a party game among friends. The combination of simple rules, luck, and tactical options has made UNO a timeless card game that is loved across generations – and now you can also play our version of the popular game right here on Playtopia.com.
